Green Waste Guidelines
Set out at curbside by 7:00 am on your collection day.
Limitations
Maple Ridge – Unlimited cans/yard-waste bags per week
Surrey – Unlimited cans/bags per week
Langley – Unlimited cans/bags per week
*No Plastic Bags. Only 80 Litre Containers (50lb) or Kraft Paper Compost Bags.
Preperation Guidelines:
- 44lb Green waste limit per container
- Kraft paper bags ( available at local retailers)
Unacceptable Items:
- Absolutely no plastic bags
- Unwrapped ashes, sawdust, vacuum dust, or particulate matter
- Building materials (lumber, demolition wast)
- Soil, rocks, sod
- Hazardous & biomedical waste
- Paint, petroleum, oil products
- Pesticides
- Animal Excrement or bodies
- Styrofoam
- Gardening tools or gloves
